Tim Allen draws criticism for comments on conservatives in Hollywood

Despite his previous successes, Allen claims that having political ideals that lean to the right are like having to live in Nazi Germany.

"I was invited, we did a VIP thing for the vets, and went to a veterans ball, so I went to go see Democrats and Republicans", he said defensively.

"You've gotta be real careful around here", said Allen, 63, whose role in the 1990s sitcom "Home Improvement" made him a star.

'This is like '30s Germany. I don't know what happened ...!

There's even a secret group of conservative Hollywood directors, actors, producers and backstage crew workers who support one another in the growing liberal landscape of Tinseltown.

Allen now stars in Last Man Standing on ABC and will be presenting his "kooky" takes on politics, history, and sexuality at the Mirage in Las Vegas on April 8. He went on to attend Central Michigan University before transferring to Western Michigan where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in communications.

This is not the first time Allen has discussed Hollywood's attitude towards Mr Trump.

It's hard to be a conservative in Hollywood these days. He visited The Kelly File past year, where he called it "hypocritical" that Hollywood didn't like Trump because he is a bully.

In the wake of the 2016 American Music Awards, during which President Trump and his family were a hot topic, Allen told Fox News' Megyn Kelly that he had a problem with Hollywood's perpetual bullying of Trump. "But if you had any kind of inkling that you were for Trump, you got bullied", he explained. "I took my kid to a gay pride parade on accident!" bit probably showed up in a hack comic's set a few days later. These are guys that have great material that have very bad comedy timing.
