Rumor: Leaked Document Suggests The Evil Within 2 Might Be In Development

But the listing indicates that Bethesda could very well be interested in continuing the franchise, especially considering that the first game performed pretty well for them in both the USA and Japanese game markets, even with the name change over to Psycho Break.

"The Evil Within" or "Psycho Break" in Japan, is a survival horror game directed by none other than Shinji Mikami. Does this mean that we could potentially see The Evil Within 2 toward the end of the year, or perhaps early next year? According to recent news, Bethesda claims this new version will be one among the best survival horror sequel.

"The Evil Within" offered players a gruesome world filled with gory and psychological horror elements. After all, Resident Evil at the time had aslant from its roots by offering fans a more action-oriented gameplay.

But, it was "The Evil Within" that made fans build up their hopes for the survival horror genre games back in 2014 which featured the protagonist Sebastian Castellanos. Still, it should be noted that the first Evil Within was an extremely divisive game.

The Evil Within was published by Bethesda Softworks who also own Tango Gameworks.

The job advert was posted on NeoGAF yesterday. However, today sees the first hint that Bethesda and developer Tango Gameworks are developing The Evil Within 2 thanks to a job postings that appear to be for the game.

Even though it does look legit, we would again advise you to take it as a rumor, as there is no official confirmation that the game is indeed under development. It is possible that in coming time after the leak, we could get a lot of new information from Bethesda about this upcoming franchise.
