Nintendo Switch's Games Are Getting Rave Reviews

"In most cases it will be enough to move these devices three to four feet away from the Nintendo Switch console and/or Joy-Con controllers".

There's a very easy-to-explain reason behind this feature - Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of Mario, Link and Donkey Kong, is a wizard.

Discovered by French site Nintendo Actu and tested by The Verge, you can pair Joy-Con controllers over Bluetooth to use as standard controllers.

The controllers will connect with PCs, Mac computers, and Android mobile devices and work out of the box. iOS uses its own Bluetooth controller specification which means it does not work natively with the Joy-Con or Switch Pro controllers.

This functionality, while unexpected, is certainly a welcome novelty and could have some real potential for the home-brew crowd. "However, if you continue to experience this issue, please power these devices off while using the Nintendo Switch console".

Of course, before you start rearranging your gaming space or flushing beloved fish down the toilet, check to make sure your Switch is fully updated and your Joy-Cons are charged. What other classics do you want to see remastered?

Nintendo's latest console is relatively easy to pull apart and fix, at least according to the professional tinkerers at iFixit.

Although the United Kingdom support pages still don't seem to mention it the American ones have an entry for "Joy-Con Not Responding or Responding Incorrectly When Used Wirelessly".

In addition to the problem of dead pixels, the Nintendo Switch users have also experienced other problems.

The console is so portable that Nintendo Switch screen protectors are a necessity.

In a post on reddit, dbrand explained its testing process, saying they purchased 10 retails units and confirmed that "both the Joy-Cons and the console are not compatible with vinyl wraps or any adhesive-backed skin of any kind".

Nintendo believes the Joy-Con connectivity issues encountered by some Switch owners could be the result of wireless interference. Moreover, it is great for playing games alone or for having fun with other people.
