Has April the giraffe finally given birth?

If you're like us and your life has begrudgingly been consumed by a livestream of a giraffe named April waiting to give birth at New York's Animal Adventure Park for the past 11 days, you may not be ready for this news.

In a Facebook post Monday morning, the park said April was in a much better mood and that her vet was positive and happy with her progression. They said she was calmer later in the evening.

April the giraffe could give birth any day.

"There is a significant amount of belly movement and tail raising". You can see the moment of truth above.

"What many are calling an omen of the impending birth", the zoo wrote on Facebook Sunday night. Check out the latest and view the photo below.

The zoo said Friday April appears "a little more on edge" and is "not being as lovely as usual".

April has captivated tens of millions of people across the world who have been checking in on her via the live stream in anticipation of the birth of her fourth calf. Active labor will begin with the onset of April's mucus plug followed by the appearance of hooves. April is still pregnant, and there is only one official site providing the live feed.

Giraffe calves are usually about six feet tall and 150 pounds. There will be a future announcement for a contest where viewers can suggest names for the baby giraffe.
