The San Francisco Chronicle reported that Olly ran the course backwards, which the announcer gets quite a kick over in the video.

"Wrong way! Oh well, doesn't really matter, does it?" the announcer said as Olly went the wrong way through a tunnel.

As one commentator put it: "He is an absolute handful".

Holding in fits of giggles, a commentator described the dog as "going crazy" and "having a ball".

"He loves life and excercise".

This Jack Russell was so daring, in fact, that at one point, he risked a full front-flip as he forcefully leapt over a super-tall obstacle, as seen in the slo-mo shot below.

Dogs competing in Crufts 2018 will have a lot to live up to after Olly's performance.

A video of the little dog's performance has now had almost 3.5 million views on YouTube.

The clip on the video-sharing site has been viewed more than 800,000 times.

Crufts 2017 was won by an American Cocker Spaniel named Afterglow Miami Ink. I'm absolutely shocked and thrilled.

He was found dumped outside the rescue centre five years ago.

More than 22,000 dogs took part in the four-day competition.

Dog shows give both owners and their pets the chance to show off their highly refined teamwork.
