Diving Into Lorde's Dreamy And Dramatic Album Art

Lorde gets loose in the video for her new single, "Green Light", and according to the clip's director, the 20-year-old singer let go of all her inhibitions while filming.

Have you guys heard "Green Light" yet?

Lorde's new song was the source of excitement for her fans, but not only.

Of course many are already speculating that "Green Light", could be about her ex, James Lowe - considering the two reportedly broke up some time early previous year after being together for quite a while.

All teasing aside, Swift isn't the only celeb ecstatic for Lorde's comeback.

Despite not debuting until the fifth day of the February 26-March 4 tracking week, Lorde's new "Green Light" blasts onto the weekly Mediabase pop, alternative and hot adult contemporary airplay chart. "And the stuff that we've made I just really feel like we've pushed each other to make stuff that is better than anything either of us have ever done". Her work with this piece provides a truly real portrait of a story that is all too familiar to anyone who has been in love.

In the hours following its release, music heavyweights from Katy Perry to Paramore's Hayley Williams joined the chorus to add their names to the list of Lorde's delighted fans.

Although Lorde didn't give an exact release date for her sophomore album, she did reveal the project will be available this summer.

"We have a ton of incredible leftover songs that just didn't quite fit inside the world of Melodrama", Lorde tweeted. "And the song is really about those moments kind of immediately after your life changes and about all the silly little things that you gravitate towards", she said.

Either way, I'm looking forward to hearing Lorde sing her heart out on "Green Light" live from NY on Saturday night - and whether or not it comes with another new song.
