Cavaliers' Kevin Love returns to face Utah

Now in his third season with Cleveland, Love averaged 20.0 points, 11.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 0.9 steals over 31.9 minutes of play in 46 games.

The injury cost Love 13 games during his best season yet with Cleveland. Cleveland has won four of the last five meetings and seven of nine at Staples.

While it wasn't necessarily a game that the Jazz were expected to win, the final outcome still ended up coming as somewhat of a disappointment as they played well for most of the contest and truly put themselves in a situation to come away victorious.

There was some good news for the Cavaliers, though, as before the game it was announced that Kevin Love would return to the team and would be starting in this game.

The Cavaliers received great news as Love returns without any setbacks, and that he did it ahead of the original timeline gives Cleveland a boost with the playoffs just weeks away. Before his injury, the team was 20th in the league, with a defensive rating of 106.3.

Going into tonight's home game against the Utah Jazz, James has posted three triple-doubles in his last four games. Sure, the Jazz were without a pair of starters in Derrick Favors and Rodney Hood, but with the Cavaliers' injury issues of their own, neither team was going to use that as an excuse. While James is revered by some and perceived as a villain by others, regardless of any opinion of him there's simply no denying his basketball prowess. Rather, the Cavaliers should just view this as a really solid win as Cleveland continues to try to turn the month of March around.

The time that Cavaliers coach Tyronn Lue has long awaited, and with it the decisions that he's been agonizing over, are almost upon him.

Either way, Love is surely glad to be back. "But it's just good to have him back on the floor".

"In years past, maybe, but I've been with this team long enough to know where I fit", Love said of integrating back into the lineup.

More importantly, though, Love's return brings the Cavaliers as close to full strength as they've been in quite some time. This was especially needed by Sanders, who last played full-time in the 2014-15 season with the Milwaukee Bucks. LeBron scored 17 points in the fourth quarter en route to a 33 point, 10 rebound, six assist effort for the evening. "So we would go four rounds, basically four quarters, and we'd have teams of guys together, and we would just go 500 feet, 300 feet, 200 feet, etc. on the VersaClimber". And at least now there's a silver lining to the defeat as it appears that even King James has begun to #TakeNote of this Jazz team. On Sunday, they play the Los Angeles Lakers.
