Wind advisory in effect in Lancaster County until 5 pm Monday

The National Weather Service is now predicting an 80 percent chance of snow Wednesday on Cape Cod, likely beginning before 1 p.m., through Wednesday evening. The cold front will bring a chance for lightning storms Wednesday afternoon and evening.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 45. Cloudy, then gradually becoming partly cloudy, with a low around 25. South wind around 7 miles per hour.

On Tuesday, expect the sunny skies to return as the mercury reaches to about 36 degrees, Reppert said.

Today - Mostly sunny, with a high near 44. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Snow showers and flurries are expected to fade away Monday morning, but could last until late morning over the Berkshires, where light accumulation is possible.

Tonight the low temperature will be 27° with a few passing clouds and pockets of fog. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Saturday: A 40 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 43.

Expect Southwest winds of 25 to 30 miles per hour with gusts up to 45 miles per hour. Cloudy, with a low around 19.

Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 55.

Friday Night . Mostly clear, with a low around 40.

In Queens earlier today, the high winds tore off part of the roof of a gas station.
