Jesus limps off for Man City as Aguero gets chance to impress

I have always said I think one day it will be Neymar.

Speculation continues to mount as to whether Aguero will still be at the club next season and attention has turned to where he may end up. Gabriel Jesus initially tried to play on after injuring himself when landing awkwardly stretching for a cross, but slumped to the ground within minutes and signalled to the bench.

It was a surreal start for the Brazilian teenager, who everyone had high hopes for but also expected to need time to adapt to City and the Premier League. He didn't play the last few games because the three guys (Jesus, Sterling and Leroy Sane) were wonderful.

Iheanacho was left out of the 4-0 victory over West Ham, the 3-0 win at Crystal Palace, the 2-2 draw at home with Tottenham Hotspurs and the 2-1 success over Swansea City.

At 19, he has already played in six games for Brazil, bagging four goals in the process.

"It's not about that", he said. He just felt he couldn't move as freely as he wanted to and had a pain in his ankle, so we took him off. Simon is feeling his hamstring again.

"We reorganized and had a go", Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe said, "but ultimately they were too good".

He is already assured of a place in the club's history thanks to the last-gasp stoppage time goal against Queens Park Rangers in 2012 that clinched their first league title for 44 years.

That is not the case for Aguero and Guardiola acknowledged the former Atletico Madrid man's current predicament means a significant degree of uncertainty.

"I know what happened against Liverpool and Arsenal, the big teams". I say, yes, I would have waited until the end of the season. "Any injuries we get to established first-team players are going to be hard to manage".

"It's so up and down and you know if lose you a game you are going to be down so it will be a good battle to qualify for the Champions League next season".
