Chance the Rapper's valentine to fans: new tour, Oakland, Sacramento dates

"We do languages that's how civilization prevails", said Lopez before announcing the victor in category of Best New Artist during the 59th Grammy Awards at the Staples Centre, here.

After making history a few days ago and becoming the first artist to ever win a Grammy without actually selling a record, Chance The Rapper is soaring into 2017 of a cloud of confidence. Now, Grammy-winning Chance the Rapper will grace Ohioans with a stop during his Spring 2017 tour.

Chance the Rapper performs at the 59th annual Grammy Awards. Fast-forward hours later, and he's got yet another incoming message he'll never forget, this time from King Kendrick himself.

Chance was a pretty big deal in 2016, and his musical talents earned him a ton of admirers, with one of them being Drake, arguably the biggest name the rap game has to offer.

He posted on the tour on all of his social media accounts.

"Congrats bro. God is moving", the text reads.

Chance is also slated to play June 17 at the Eaux Claires festival in western Wisconsin, which is put on by Bon Iver's Justin Vernon. Chance has a response drafted that he hadn't hit send on.
