Camila Cabello Says Fifth Harmony Shortchanged Her of 'Expression'

Oh boy, it seems Fifth Harmony may have hit a sour note!

"Fifth Harmony wasn't the maximum expression of me individually", Cabello says in a recent interview with Seventeen.

"Grammy parties left me with a hangover and a real clear picture of real vs fake #thankyou", Lauren tweeted out on February 13, which some Fifth Harmony fans alleged was the pop star's way of slamming Cabello, who walked the red carpet and presented an award at the Grammys on February 12. Cabello believes it can also open up her soul and make her fearless which are two of her goals today. The 19-year-old singer couldn't stop crying when she made her departure public. But luckily, many Harmonizers backed the beauty up when she quit the band - something Camila says she didn't expect.

In December, 5H confirmed Camila's surprise exit on social media and said that they were "truly hurt". "We've been together for nearly five years, been through ups and downs", the remaining members later wrote online.

Speaking with Seventeen for its March/April cover story interview, the budding solo star, 19, candidly discussed her decision to split from bandmates Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane, Lauren Jauregui and Ally Brooke Hernandez a year ago.

She continued, "I'll continue to wish [Fifth Harmony] all the best, and I'm happy they are continuing their journey as Fifth Harmony".

Cabello recently revealed that she is looking for love.

"Taylor is always the person that I go to for boy advice". According to Camila, the songs that she actually writes about love are just products of her imagination and fantasies.

"I didn't really get to do the teenager thing". "I just wanted to feel like myself", said Cabello via email after the show. "Now I want to go out there, meet people, learn about them, and make friends". "Even though I'm 19, I've literally never had a long-term relationship", Camila stated.
