There Is One Chord That Makes Christmas Music Christmassy

As she sings "Here Comes Santa Claus" from her second Christmas album, she sparkles in a red dress and we see Santa turn up right along with her neighbors in the background. Circling around her are a trio of shirtless male trumpeters (painted gold, 'natch), a handful of drummers, and a dancing Santa Claus.

But we should have known better than to discount Mariah Carey.

TEACHERS at a Scots school stunned pupils after taking part in a festive parody of Mariah Carey's 1994 hit All I Want For Christmas.

Carey's 5½-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe are also there, dressed as little elves. Before announcing she'd be dropping three new videos.

Have a very Mariah Christmas!

Mariah Carey is becoming quite the Mrs. Claus, heaping gift on her fans in the holiday season she's helped soundtrack for two decades. The singer took to Instagram earlier today to share a video of herself cooking while listening to her own music. The pair were spotted stepping off her private jet as only Mariah Carey could.

Carey's show, which was performed at the Beacon theater in Manhattan, New York, ran for six nights and grossed over $1.5 million. So many Christmas songs are not.

"Merry Christmas everybody! I'm making my favourite sauce and I hope you're enjoying the Yuletide cheer!" the 46-year-old captioned the video along with a Christmas tree, present and Santa emojis.
