Stardew Valley Finally Coming to Xbox One and PS4

They made a hard choice of abandoning the console port and instead focus on putting their efforts in creating a version for the Nintendo Switch. Creator Eric Barone has announced that the farming simulator will be coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in December.

Stardew Valley developer ConcernedApe had been working on a Wii U version of the farming simulation RPG over the summer. "Stardew Valley" arrived in PS4 and game lovers will also be looking forward to its official launch in Xbox One. He did mention that he is extremely committed to getting Stardew Valley onto Nintendo, and that at this point, Switch is what makes the most sense.

Since releasing on PC in February 2016, Stardew Valley has racked up critical praise and substantial sales numbers. Let us know in the comments!

The game is set to launch on PS4 in the US on 13 December, while the worldwide PS4 and general Xbox One release takes place on 14 December.

Given just a few coins and some old tools, you set out to begin your new life and life off the land, but it won't be easy. You can fish, explore a monster-infested dungeon, forage, grow food, mine for ore, raise animals, or work on your relationships with the townspeople.

While this is far from a confirmation, the March 2017 release date for the Nintendo Switch, as well as the vague mention of "one more console" makes this possibility all the more likely. Throughout the course of Stardew Valley's lengthy campaign, players raise crops, tend livestock, and manufacture products in order to turn a profit.

It has been a massive success on Steam and could turn out to be one of the best ever indie games released when it lands on console soon.
