How to watch Chelsea vs. Sunderland

Tonight, the Blues have to travel north to face a resurgent Sunderland side who have managed to win three of their last four Premier League games to miraculously pull themselves away from what looked like certain relegation.

Chelsea forward Willian reveals that manager Antonio Conte has kept him positive during a two-month spell on the bench, but he is now ready to reclaim his starting role. It was the first goal in league play for Fabregas this season.

"But the manager talked to me and told me to stay concentrated, to work hard in training and when I come into the game to try to do my best".

In a first half that saw Chelsea control the flow of possession, a quick counter-attack led to the game's lone tally.

Conte's team continued to control proceedings and finally broke through five minutes before half-time when Billy Jones' stray header on the halfway line was pounced upon by N'Golo Kante, enabling Chelsea to surge forward with Willian teeing up Fabregas to guide home from the edge of the box.

Fabregas was the hero, but he wasn't the only player worthy of praise.

The Blues had Thibaut Courtois to thank for sealing the win, as he made a superb save at the start of the second half and then at the end of the match.

Sunderland threatened on the break early in the second period, Jermaine Defoe feeding Adnan Januzaj and he produced a good stop from Courtois.

Even last term, when the club slumped to a shocking 10th place finish, he managed to bag himself a total of 11 goals across 49 appearances.
