Closings set for Christmas and New Year's holidays

Hartford City offices will be closed Friday, Dec. 23-Monday, Dec. 26, for Christmas, and on January 2 for New Year's.

LA CROSSE POST OFFICE: The post office will be closed Monday, and mail will not be delivered.

City hall, the services and resource centre and public works yard will be closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day, Tuesday (Dec. 27), New Year's Day and January 2. The library will be closed December 22, 23, 27, 29, and 30, and January 3. Trash and recycling service will follow its normal schedule.

The Ellettsville Town Hall will be closed Friday, Dec. 23, Monday, Dec. 26, Friday, Dec. 30 and Monday, Jan. 2. For New Year's, Hartford City trash routes that would normally run Monday, Jan. 2, will run Tuesday, Jan. 3, with Tuesday's. Blackford, Henry and Jay county offices will be closed Friday, Dec. 23-Monday, Dec. 26, for Christmas, and on January 2 for New Year's.

Roosevelt Community Recreation Center will be closed January 1. Christmas will be observed Monday, Dec. 26, and New Year's will be observed Monday, Jan. 2. 17, the Monroe County Community School Corp. will be closed December 23-Jan.

Weimar City Hall will be closed Friday, Dec. 23 and Monday, Dec. 26 for Christmas, and Monday, Jan. 2 for New Year's Day. Normal operations will resume Wednesday, Dec. 28.

Trains - Amtrak will operate regular schedules.

Oliver Woods Community Centre's gym will be closed until December 28 due to floor work, as will Bowen Park until January 5.

All driver license office locations will be closed from Friday to Monday.

In addition, the Commissioner of the Revenue's office will be closed December 23 and 26. The library will close for New Year's Eve at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 31, and will be closed New Year's Day. It will be closed January 1 and January 2. Courts and clerks' offices will be closed the same days, as well as an additional half day today, when they will close at noon.
