Thor: Ragnarok Trailer (Fan-Made) Pits The God Of Thunder Against Hela

The film will not make a complete break with the earlier films and the rest of the Marvel cinematic universe, with characters including Mark Ruffalo's Hulk, Anthony Hopkins' Odin and Tom Hiddleston's Loki confirmed to return.

The bulk of the footage obviously comes from the previous Thor films and the character's appearances in both Avengers movies (the Heimdall vision from Age of Ultron is used particularly well), but there are also shots from several other sci-fi movies mixed in here as well, along with scenes of Blanchett taken from 1998's Elizabeth. "I made an effort to ignore the fact that there are other Thor films", he wrote.

"I think [Thor: Ragnarok] will be one of the most adventurous and most "out there" of all the Marvel movies".

Waititi said that film would be one of the Marvel universe's strangest, with a 80s pulp vibe.

Elsewhere in the Reddit chat, Waititi said that he hasn't seen Captain America: The Winter Soldier yet and claimed that his movie will have a "Taika-esque tone" due to Marvel being "very accepting" of his style. We announced on melty, the film directed by Taika Waititi looks like that of all the changes and superhero fans must be ready to embark on an exciting new adventure. What do you think of the statements Taika Waititi? Waititi said in the AMA that he basically did was he wanted with the film, praising Marvel's decision to give him massive creative freedom, and jokingly added that he didn't even bother trying to make the movie fit in with the larger MCU.

Fans were also eager to ask Waititi questions like, "What's your favorite Marvel movie?" to which he answered, "Guardians of the Galaxy". "I would have liked to get John C. Reilly's character in the film but there was no real way to pull it off", he said. Naturally, prepping for Thor: Ragnarok involved reading some classic Thor comics, and Waititi singled out one in particluar he enjoyed. And whether it's because of this or perhaps the Marvel Grand Plan, we may expect Thor: Ragnarok to stand out from the franchise.

I didn't see that, but I was very aware of the discussions.

"Thor: Ragnarok" is scheduled to hit cinemas in November 2017.
