Packers, Rodgers vow to improve after tough day for offense

Dak Prescott has had a remarkable rookie season and it continued for the Dallas Cowboys quarterback as he broke Tom Brady's National Football League record.

GREEN BAY, Wis. - All week the Dallas Cowboys' offensive line heard how good the Green Bay Packers' run defense was.

Washington was up by three points before the pick but after generating the turnover, the Cowboys drove down the field on an 11-play, 80-yard scoring drive which ended up being the difference in the game.

So it looks like we'll just have to wait and see who will be the Commander and Chief of the Dallas Cowboys. "So it is a blessing in disguise, for sure". The packers turned the ball over 4 times in Sunday's lackluster loss to the cowboys.

And even though coach Mike McCarthy has tried to push the offense toward a more effective running game to better control the time of possession, it hasn't happened yet. "It's going to take a while to sort through that".

For the game, the Packers will be wearing their new "Color Rush" uniform.

Rodgers and McCarthy said the Packers would figure out the problems after watching the film. The team should be built around Elliott, a team built around that of the offensive line and Elliott with Prescott handling the major team issues is an absolutely ideal situation.

Veteran starter Sam Shields hasn't been on the field since suffering a concussion in the September 11 season opener. Injuries to CBs Sam Shields and Quentin Rollins before the game and CB Damarious Randall during the game didn't help matters, leaving the Cowboys to take advantage of CB LaDarius Gunter for most of the game.

Admittedly, it could be worse for the Bears in this rivalry, which has been controlled by Green Bay since the early 90s. Prescott's 177th career attempt was picked off by Green Bay's Morgan Burnett.? Ranked third in rushing yards allowed, 10th in passing yards allowed and tied for sixth in sacks, the defense is the side of the ball that has kept Green Bay in the five games they've played so far. However, he was responsible for two of the Packers' four turnovers, one on an interception where he never saw safety Barry Church and threw it right to him, the other when he fumbled on an ill-advised quarterback draw on first-and-goal at the 1.

Two of the interceptions and five of the sacks came over the last two weeks, with one of each generated against the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.

"We're a physical team; that's what it is", Elliott said. According to ESPN's Ed Werder, lead back Eddie Lacy appears highly unlikely to suit up for Thursday night's game against the Chicago Bears due to his troublesome ankle. "So it is what it is".

The Packers did that with quarterback Joe Callahan last week and lost him to the Saints on a waiver claim.

"We've got to improve", Rodgers said. "That's just what it is". "We're better than that, and we just have to show that". "But we've got to improve".
