Clinton draws record crowd as Trump flounders

Trump rebuked Ryan, saying in a Twitter comment, that he "should spend more time on balancing the budget, jobs and illegal immigration and not waste his time on fighting (the) Republican nominee". "So, I support the person who I think best can change America, and right now, that's Donald Trump given the two choices".

Donald Trump moved to put out several fires threatening his campaign on Monday in the wake of the release of a 2005 video of the Republican nominee talking about groping women and getting away with it because of his celebrity.

In a head-to-head matchup, Clinton's lead over Trump increases to 13 points, 51 percent to 38 percent.

The Democrat tried repeatedly to get under her Republican opponent's skin, mocking his television career.

So he brought three of Bill Clinton's most prominent accusers as his guests at the debate, and gave them the chance to speak to a startled press corps just hours before his face-off with Hillary Clinton.

"Bill Clinton was the worst abuser of women to ever sit in the Oval Office".

In his campaign speech on Monday, Trump, who is trailing Hillary Clinton in the voter surveys, returned to his regular themes such as criticising the status quo, which he says the former first lady represents, and his attacks on the media. As it launched Text Trump this week, the campaign also released its I Will Vote bot, an assistant for Facebook Messenger that checks whether you're registered to vote, and helps you sign up if you're not yet on the books.

But perhaps the greatest window into the character of Hillary Clinton can be found in what she did as a lawyer when she was defending a man who raped a 12-year-old little girl, he alleged.

"There is nothing Hillary Clinton won't do or say to obtain power, and it's about time people started to understand it", Trump said.

"She lied so much last night", Trump said, even though he was repeatedly fact-checked for false statements over the course of the 90-minute debate.

"She's been through a number of trials over the course of her career and she's certainly not going to let him throw her off or intimidate her from speaking out", Palmieri added.

Wayne said he thinks the debate might have unified Clinton's support among "Democratic voters who may have been anxious about her. Trump solidified his base, but not beyond the base".

Trump apologized for those remarks - which included saying he could "grab (women) by the pussy" - in a video message early Saturday, but has since sought to deflect criticism by repeatedly dismissing the comments as "locker room talk" and instead training his fire on the Clintons.

"Over 100 million dollars in money for the Clinton Foundation". "Why should I have to answer my kids" questions about these topics?'" Mr Hollihan said.

"The women were outraged", Mr Giuliani said. They don't want to talk about what their other political heroes have done to other innocent girls and women.
