Q2 Weather: More rain, but add wind Saturday

Low pressure will begin lifting northeast toward New England, bringing an increasing threat for rain to western Mass Friday and Saturday. Otherwise, cloudy and cool with temperatures in the 50s with 60s East of Billings. A short lived area of high pressure will give us quiet weather for the day before rain and cooler temperatures move in for Monday. As for Sunday itself uncertainty exists on whether or not showers develop behind the front once it pushes through or not. A few lingering showers will stay until late Sunday night. Afternoon highs will climb well into the 70s with a number of towns hitting the lower 80s. Mostly clear and much cooler overnight, dropping into the upper 40s.

Some showers may linger in South Jersey on Tuesday morning. Winds S 5-15 miles per hour with gusts up to 20 miles per hour in north-central Kansas. Saturday, as of now, looks to feature at least isolated to scattered showers.

Timing the exact rain chances is still hard at this time, so be sure to check back for updates this week.

Sunday night: Partly cloudy and cool. Rain chance 50%. Highs in the middle 80s. While the rain will fall heavily at times, it won't be enough to substantially help our drought deficit.

Thursday: Many clouds, some drizzle.

The upcoming cloudy and damp pattern will last through the week, with possible sunshine returning late in the weekend or early next week.
