Los Angeles prosecutors consider charging body-shaming Playboy model Dani Mathers

Los Angeles prosecutors consider charging body-shaming Playboy model Dani Mathers

Dani Mathers could be heading to jail after fat shaming a naked woman at the gym.

The likely charge will be 'Dissemination of Private Images', which is a misdemeanour that carries the punishment of 6 months in jail. The woman is in her seventies and, according to the gossip website, eager "to help bring Mathers to justice". "Because unfortunately for this woman, it is almost impossible to get your naked photo taken off the internet", Powers said. The post suggested that the woman didn't meet Mathers' beauty standards. She then issued a awful apology, stating that she only meant to sent the body shaming snap to one friend, not her entire feed. Now, her lawyer Tom Mesereau is telling the New York Daily News that Mathers "never tried to hurt anyone at any time, and certainly never tried to break any law".

The Playboy's banned-under-investigation/">Playmate of the Year 2015 was in her gym's changing room when she made a decision to snap a selfie which featured a naked woman in the background, without the woman's permission.

The photo of the woman was captioned by the Playmate of the Year 2015 with the words "if I cant unsee this you can't either".

The City Attorney is now reviewing the case.

As it stands now, Mathers has not only been banned from L.A. Fitness gyms, but she has also been indefinitely suspended from her radio show hosting gig.

Dani tried to apologise for what she did by tweeting "I'm sorry for what I did". Body shaming people in a private environment, where they're trying to live a healthy lifestyle, is even more toxic.

She spotted an average-sized elderly woman naked by the showers, and she took a photo of her and published it to her large social media following. That's not the type of person I am. "I need to take some time to myself now to reflect on why I did this terrible thing".
