Kanye West fires back at former protege Kid Cudi

Kanye West fires back at former protege Kid Cudi

"NONE OF Y'ALL", Ye shouted at his Tampa Saint Pablo tour audience.

Drake even through a little subtle shade during his tour stop in Oakland, saying, "Boy you getting way too high you need to Cud-iiiittttt". "Talkin top 5 and be having 30 people write songs for them", he tweeted, calling attention to the ghostwriting controversy that surrounded Drake past year.

"You mad cause I'm doing songs with Drake", West said.

"Can't nobody tell Ye who to do songs with".

While Cudi went a different route musically, he still managed to be a huge influence on artists like Travis Scott who is often regarded as a protegé of Kanye. Have that opportunity? Never forget that.

West further expressed how "disrespected" and "hurt" the tweets from Cudi had made him feel, as West was a mentor of sorts to him. "Kid Cudi, we're two black men in a racist world", West continued. "I wore skinny jeans first", he said.

"Don't ever mention my name in a a bad manner", West said. "None of y'all!" "And they aint f-kin with me".

In a lengthy Twitter rant yesterday, Kanye's former protégé Cudi also accused both rappers of not writing their own music. Don't come at Kid Cudi for speaking truth.

Kid Cudi, who rose to fame on the heels of his debut single "Day "n" Nite," had some things to get off his chest.

Kanye, unsurprisingly, was more loquacious.

In full concert, Kanye West has responded to the clash of Kid Cudi Wednesday night on Twitter. In classic 'Ye fashion, not only did we get his clapback quick, we got it during a rant at a show.

The 32-year-old is readying his sixth studio album, Passion, Pain & Demon Slayin' for the spring.

The rappers have collaborated on tracks a number of times, including Kanye's All of the Lights and most recently Father Stretch My Hands from his album The Life of Pablo. If I could make music like someone, I'd like to make music like him.
