IPhone 7 Might Not Sell as Well as iPhone 6s, Claims Analyst

The demand of the jet black color of the iPhone has caused the problem, and since the jet black version was a limited edition, it is proving to be a manufacturing challenge for the company. That's up to 40 percent of jet black iPhone 7s that could have been on their way to your door, but aren't because they're not flawless.

As for the preorder figures of the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, Kuo said that the sales numbers for the two variants are nearly equal, again largely because of the issues surrounding the Galaxy Note 7.

According to the famous Ming-Chi Kuo of KGI Securities analyst, the iPhone 7 will sell less than the iPhone 6s in the first months following its release.

Apple had just made one of the most remarkable and legendary product releases in history with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Kuo also says that the dual-camera system is a feature well documented and that'll help early shipments of the device. The company has already started selling Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus in US, UK, and other countries. We'd also expect the same storage models as the current iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, meaning 32GB, 128GB and 256GB, as well as the same colour options.

It's unclear how many new phones Apple sold following its iPhone 7 announcement, but if it had outsold the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus, it's hard to envision any good reason why it wouldn't have reported those numbers - even if it already said it wasn't going to.

Apple's iPhone 7 and 7 Plus both offer great camera capabilities, like the iPhones that have gone before them.

With reports of some Jet Black iPhone 7 Plus units trickling into stores they're slowly finding their way to consumers but the race to unveil by 7 September seems to have put a strain on suppliers.

However, Kuo has predicted that Apple will witness a decline in year-over-year shipments of the new device, despite iPhone 7 Plus good sales. Under the hood, it has a 64-bit architecture-based A10 Fusion chip with M10 motion coprocessor, an Apple iOS v10, a 32GB/128GB/256GB internal memory, and a 2GB RAM.
