Get ready to grab the tech-superior Samsung Galaxy Note 7!

Officially announced a few hours ago, the Galaxy Note 7 is Samsung's first Note to have only a 64 GB version. Both devices are then set to hit stores on August 19. The device is also IP68 water and dust resistant which means that the device can be submerged in 5-feet of water for up to 30 minutes. It comes in four colors: black, gold, silver and blue coral. In addition, the handset has a 4-inch AMOLED display and 1GB of RAM, with a design that's similar to the previous Tizen phones.

"Powering a robust ecosystem, the Note 7 is the ideal device for those who want to achieve more in life".

In the first half of 2016, Samsung's Galaxy S7 edge was the top-selling Android smartphone worldwide, with an estimated 13.3 million units shipped, according to Strategy Analytics figures. The Galaxy Note7 continues the same classy metal and glass construction as seen on the Galaxy Note 5, but now includes the chic curved display cribbed from the Galaxy S7 Edge.

Conor Pierce, Samsung's vice president of IT and mobile in the United Kingdom, said the Galaxy Note 7 combines productivity and entertainment in one single device.

It's still a relatively new feature and hasn't become completely indispensable, but it's handy and will become more useful in time. It is also 0.3mm thicker compared to the Note 5.

The pen, which will likely be much more versatile than any of its preceding models, will enable the user to create a GIF animation file from a video clip and share the file via mobile messengers easily.

Camera: 12 megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera.

If you're in the United States, your phone is powered by a Quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor, while global versions of the Note7 feature an Octa-core Exynos. If you've been eagerly waiting to get your hands on the new Samsung Galaxy Note 7, we've got good news for you: The smartphone will be available here sooner than expected. Since then, Samsung has focused most of its energy on its Galaxy S models, going so far as not to release the last version of the Galaxy Note in Europe. Users also can expand storage up to 256GB through microSD card use the same slot for the SIM-card just like they had done on the Galaxy S7 edge. As for the Galaxy Note7, it will be available for pre-order starting tomorrow and will be be available at all major USA wireless carriers on August 19. The TouchWiz UI has also gotten a light revamp, but that's par for the Note series.
