ESPN College GameDay to broadcast from Louisville on Saturday

ESPN's College GameDay will be making its first-ever stop at Louisville next Saturday.

"We're excited to have ESPN College GameDay coming to Louisville", UofL Vice President and Director of Athletics Tom Jurich said.

"The show's presence here is is really a great tribute to our football program. I know our fans will embrace all of the pageantry surrounding Saturday'sevent and carry that enthusiasm into the stadium to support our team during the game".

The game is sold out, except for some VIP experiences, but you don't have to have a ticket to watch "GameDay", which will broadcast from 9 noon ET from the speedway's FanZone Earhart East Parking Lot.

Louisville and Florida State are both 2-0 this season. Of course, fans in Lincoln (Oregon at Nebraska), Oxford (Alabama at Ole Miss), Norman (Ohio State at Oklahoma), Provo (UCLA at BYU), and Berkeley (Texas at Cal) might not be so happy about the selection - or about learning they weren't selected even before their teams had played.

Budding businessman Sam Crowder, AKA "SamC227C", cashed in big time when his sign asking his mom for beer money made it on ESPN this morning. To lead off the year, Rece Davis, Lee Corso, and Kirk Herbstreit traveled with their crew to Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin to cover the (then) upset of the Wisconsin Badgers over the LSU Tigers. The show dedicates a segment that features the most creative signs each week.
