Anushka was seen opposite Salman Khan in the recently released Sultan.

A special screening was held for the tinsel town stars and Katrina Kaif was an attendee among the few. Female lead Anushka Sharma has also performed impactfully and synced brilliantly with Salman. The two actresses have earlier worked together in the 2012 YRF release, Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Salman Khan is quite delighted with the success of Sultan. The first four-day collection of the movie has exceeded the lifetime collections of Airlift (Rs 127.8 crore) and Housefull 3 (Rs 107.7 crore). As per the reports given by websites, "Sultan" is the highest collections made film in Salman's career.

The film was released across 5000 screens in India along with another additional 1200 screens across the world. Salman Khan has given one of his best performances so far and is being praised by all for that.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's Eid release "Sultan" has crossed the Rs 300 crore mark worldwide in just five days since its release.

In the opening week, Bajrangi Bhaijaan collected the amount of 184.61 crores whereas Sultan has minted the amount of 180.36 crores in its opening weekend or we can say in 5 days of release.

Salman Khan's "Sultan" has conquered the box office. Sultan is all set to become the fastest 200 crores grosser of Bollywood.

"It has broken all previous records for highest opening collection which is beyond our expectations", a spokesperson for Geo films, which distributed the film in Pakistan, said. While this is over 50% drop from its opening day (Rs. 36.54 crore), one has to consider that it was anyways on a very high level and that too on pre-Eid.

Sultan has been exceptional in overseas, and the movie is expected to collect Rs 350 crores in its first week across the globe.
