For example, many on social media, have gotten the perception that Black Lives Matter was connected to the deadly police shooting in Dallas last week. It had all the markings of a tense standoff at best, and possibly something uglier at worst.

Wednesday, Newberry shared a Tea Party blog post about upcoming Black Lives Matter protests. "We're here saying 'Hey, can we talk to somebody and see if we can get on the same page?'". The Black Lives Matter movement isn't about segregation, separation or disengagement, its about inclusion.

When asked if leaders of the movement thought protesters would change their focus and become as engaged in legislation as they were in protesting, Maejor said, "I can't control that". A vigil in support of the Black Lives Matter campaign was held in the Town Hall Square yesterday evening. "Are we all on board?"

The scenes of the most recent controversial police involved shootings. They gathered in between the Flamingo and the Cromwell casinos.

Seeing the protester grabbed by police officers, others at the protest began to chant, "No justice, no peace!"
