Pokemon Go is now officially out in the UK

"With Pokemon GO, you are seeing it as bypassing a lot of digital (marketing) channels that the brick and mortar shops have been relying on for the past few years".

Now the second most popular app in China is "Go Catch 'Em All", with no prizes awarded for guessing what series that game is trying to emulate.

"The expectation is that Pokemon Go's success will contribute to the success of Nintendo's other original games, and even to the success of its next game console", SMBC Nikko Securities analyst Eiji Maeda told AFP.

Since its launch on Wednesday, Pokemon Go has been the most downloaded app on different platforms in the US. Apps on Google Play Store are often released within days or weeks after debuting in US.

"Pokemon GO" APK release has been anticipated by "Pokemon" fans worldwide and fans are getting a good news.

John Hanke, the chief executive of the game's developer Niantic, confirmed to the New York Times that the company will be announcing details of sponsored locations in the future.

It has taken Twitter by surprise and is on a breakneck pace to match its popularity levels with Snapchat and Google Maps, according to Forbes. Well, combine it with the most popular TV show of all time of course.

The former "Saturday Night Live" writer and performer cited reports that the Niantic "can collect a broad swath of personal information from its players" through the game and expressed his privacy concerns, especially for children. "Game users continuously interact with each other and I think the game has a social aspect to it", he said.

But Niantic's idea to introduce paid deals that encourage players to visit a particular shop or bar could boost company earnings significantly. The technique that the kidnapper uses is to lure "Pokemon Go" players in the promise of finding Pokemon to secluded places and then robbing them on gun point. Ltd, the game uses the GPS mapping and camera systems on players' devices.
