Pokemon GO has become the biggest mobile game in USA history

In terms of monetising these users, Pokemon Go seems to also be incredibly successful.

Just nine days after bursting onto the scene and into your phone and the phones of everyone you know, Pokémon GO is already the biggest mobile game in USA history. Moreover, roughly seven in ten players return to the app the day after it's downloaded, and the average revenue from daily, active users amounts to 25 cents. As an added bonus, the game is most popular among millennials - a group with lower voter turnout yet disproportionately inclined towards Clinton's Democratic Party. But really, it's the sheer number of users that made this possible.

It will be interesting to see what steps Niantic Labs - the company behind the smash-hit game - will take to retain the buzz.

Inside of three days, Pokemon Go had more users that Twitter, with the title forecasted to eclipse both Snapchat and Google Maps in the coming days.

He commented that a rainy day or a winter season may impact a gamer's decision to continue playing the game.

Meanwhile, video gaming independent analyst Billy Pidgeon shared that Niantic and The Pokemon Company may need to come up with other game features and events to keep player engagement high. The game was initially released was in the U.S., Australia and New Zealand in early July.
