Recognized around the league for his accurate passing and explosive dribbling ability, however, it is Nagbe's less flashy stats that have earned him his place on the Fan XI.

Philadelphia Union pair Andre Blake and Keegan Rosenberry are among the lesser-known members of the team, while Darlington Nagbe - who recently began playing for the U.S. national team under Jurgen Klinsmann - will also play.

Arsenal take on a MLS All-Star team on July 7, which will include names such as Didier Drogba, Kaka and Andrea Pirlo.

Philadelphia Union goalkeeper Andre Blake and defender Keegan Rosenberry were named to the 2016 AT&T MLS All-Star Fan XI, the league announced Saturday. That doesn't mean the Brazilian has a guaranteed spot in the 2016 MLS All-Star Game, however.

The players chosen in the Fan XI vote won't necessarily be the starters. The Timbers career-leader in appearances across all eras (since 1975), Nagbe, 25, has made 12 starts in 12 appearances for the Timbers in 2016, compiling 172 appearances (161 starts) since beginning his MLS career with Portland in 2011. Unlike the others that pit the league's best players against one another, MLS brings in a high profile team to play against the league's best. In total, the Mexico worldwide has 10 goals and 10 assists since joining the Galaxy in the fall of 2015.

NYCFC was one of three teams with two players named to the Fan XI, along with Philadelphia's Andre Blake and Keegan Rosenberry, and Montreal's Laurent Ciman and Didier Drogba. But the players voted by the fans are typically included on the game-day roster, which will be announced July 17.
