Bennie Fowler says Draymond Green did not punch 'anyone'

The alleged incident occurred on Sunday around 2:30 the city where Draymond Green played for the Michigan State Spartans from 2008 to 2012.

Edmondson told police his run-in with Green began on Friday, July 8, inside of Rick's American Café in East Lansing, where the two bumped into each other and exchanged words.

Edmondson alleges two of Green's friends then choked him and his girlfriend. A police officer nearby said the slap was very loud and another officer reported that he heard a loud smack noise. "The claims against him are beyond false and I look forward to the truth coming".

"On Saturday night, Draymond and I were eating in East Lansing", Fowler said.

It also ended with "I would like to take further action on this situation and I am willing to fully cooperate to get this situation taken care of".

He faces 93 days in jail and a $500 fine if convicted.

"I was standing on the west side of Abbot next to the old MSUFCU watching Conrad's as the bars were closing for the night", officer Shelby Humphries wrote in the report. His entire statement to police is below.

"When things happen, you meet them head on", Green said, per Kirkland Crawford of the Detroit Free Press.

Green's schedule for the Olympic basketball team includes training sessions and exhibition games from July 18 through August 1. Green was booked and lodged in East Lansing Police Department jail and was released after posting bail ($200). "It will be resolved really quickly", Green said Tuesday in Aspen, Colorado.

Green has since apologized for the incident, saying (via ESPN), "I just can't put myself in certain situations".

New details regarding the arrest of a Golden State Warriors star player are painting a different picture than what was previously believed. "So it's something that I learn from, and just move on".

Green's lawyer, James Heos, told this newspaper Monday that "Draymond is completely innocent - "completely" should be capitalized".
