Xbox Games with Gold: Four new games revealed for May

May 3-9: Discover. ID@Xbox has hosted a number of memorable, outside-the-box games, like The Park, Beyond Eyes, and Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime. Microsoft is offering a slew of 360 games for free this week for those who have an Xbox Live Gold subscription. Sunset Overdrive is one of several games Microsoft is giving away for free with an Xbox Live Gold subscription this month.

Xbox is partnering with Twitch this year to bring Xbox fans "wall-to-wall coverage of the entire week of E3", including behind-the-scenes, announcements, and seeing the best Xbox games in real-time. It will be streamed live on Twitch, via the Xbox Live Events Players on Xbox One and Xbox 360 consoles, on big screens at your local Microsoft Store, and on Spike TV in the us and Canada. Be sure to check out what they've got in store for you below the video!

This, unfortunately, doesn't seem available for all of the free games mentioned above, but the good news is that Microsoft is adding to the growing list of 360 games that play on Xbox One almost all the time. The WWDC 2016 keynote is set to begin at 10 a.m. on June 13, just half an hour after the Xbox showcase starts. It's time to broaden your horizons - discover new experiences, new creators, and new ways to play! However, unlike "Defense Grid", which will be available on the first day of May, "Costume Quest" will not be downloadable for free until May 16.

If you pay $60 annually for an Xbox Live Gold membership, you get a handful of free games every single month.

May 17-23: What's Next. Examples include The Long Dark, and The Solus Project. Most of these indie standouts need no introduction - we're talking stuff like Rocket League, Rogue Legacy, The Escapists, and The Banner Saga.
