Windows 10 Version 1511 Current Branch Build 10586.218 Released

Windows 10 Version 1511 Current Branch Build 10586.218 Released

While we are still looking forward to the promised Redstone preview (14316), Insiders on the Release Preview ring can now install Windows 10 Mobile build 10586.218 on their devices. Even if you're a Windows 10 Mobile user, why bother installing the Windows 10 desktop app if you know you're still going to have to launch its equivalent on your phone?

"Win10 Anniversary Update" announced at //build will have key gaming features, so next Xbox system update goes to preview end May/early June", said Ybarra in a tweet quoted by Digital Trends.

However, some were left out during the initial keynote, and now Microsoft has shared 6 more, which are the Secret Windows 10 Ninja Cat emojis. With other words, it seems that this new build might be available for all non-Insider devices as well. Microsoft also noted some other features, not in the public preview that most likely will not be ready by July.

A month ago, the Windows App Studio Installer was noticed in the Store; however, it's today that Microsoft is finally making the app official.

"Get support for a new accessory form factor that looks like a lightweight and low-priced laptop, but without any CPU or OS". The real reason why Windows XP has been so popular is because it not only introduced many handy features, but it proved to be a major improvement over its poorly thought predecessor, Windows ME.

This month's update, KB3147458, is a security update because it addresses security issues relating to Security Account Manager Remote Protocol, http.sys, secondary logon, Microsoft Graphics component, .NET Framework, CSRSS, Microsoft Edge, and IE11.

Microsoft is expected to introduce a "Forced HDR Mode" in the Lumia 950 and 950 XL - which will empower the users of the devices to click pictures in the HDR mode any time they want, instead of depending upon the phone's discretion for the same.

Just like the update for Windows 10 Version 1511, cumulative update KB3147461 also brings some bug fixes and system enhancements.

Support for visual voicemail on dual SIM phones.
